About the pre-first lesson assessment
A comprehensive multiple-choice assessment that maps where a student is falling down in core topic areas - for Leaving Cert Maths that includes algebra, complex numbers, calculus, probability and statistics - so the first lesson starts with a clear plan, not guesswork.
It is not a pass-or-fail exam. Questions are grouped into topic sections, and students can mark N/A on anything they have not covered yet (for example statistics), so gaps do not get scored as wrong answers.
After you book, we email a short survey plus the pre-first lesson MCQ assessment for the student to complete before the first lesson.
Prefer to skip the assessment? Send your son or daughter's latest class test, or your own if you are booking for yourself, and we will work from that instead.
