How We Work

Grinds inside an academic support system that improves grades

Next Level Learning offers live grinds wrapped in continuous support for students who need more than one hour a week: deepen understanding and improve grades in Leaving Cert Maths, Junior Cycle Maths, and Leaving Cert Physics. Small group grinds (3–4 students) or 1-to-1, online on Zoom or in-person in Blessington for one flat fee, plus WhatsApp homework rescue, anonymous questions, post-grind quizzes, the exam paper vault, and a parent and guardian dashboard. Your first grind is free.

Getting started

From free first grind to full support

No long-term contract upfront. Try a session, complete a comprehensive topic MCQ assessment, then choose the monthly plan that fits, online or in-person in Blessington.

1

Book your first grind free

Choose LC Maths, JC Maths, or LC Physics and pick a time online or in-person in Blessington. No payment and no obligation, it is a real session so you can see how we teach.

2

Complete the pre-first lesson assessment

We email a comprehensive multiple-choice assessment grouped by topic sections. It shows where the student is falling down in areas such as algebra, complex numbers, calculus, probability and statistics. Students can mark N/A on anything they have not covered yet.

3

Try the session & choose a plan

After the free grind, pick small group (one or two classes a week), 1-to-1, or premium 1-to-1. Pay monthly or once for the remaining school year. Online on Zoom or in-person in Blessington.

4

Use the full support system

Weekly live grinds plus WhatsApp, question banks, lesson prep, recordings, resources, and a parent dashboard, help all week, not just on grind day.

What sets us apart

More than a weekly grind

Large grinds schools often give you one hour in a big room and little help the rest of the week. We built the opposite, small groups or true 1-to-1, plus support channels that stay open between lessons.

What matters
Us
Large schools

Class size

3–4 students per group (min 3, max 4), or true 1-to-1 online or in-person

Often 15–30+ students in a lecture-style room

Between-lesson support

WhatsApp, question banks, and lesson prep included

Help mostly limited to the weekly class slot

Delivery

Online Zoom grinds or in-person in Blessington, same support system

Often fixed venue or online-only with no mid-week help

Onboarding

Free first grind plus pre-first lesson assessment before you commit

Rarely a no-obligation trial or structured starting assessment

Family visibility

Dedicated parent and guardian dashboard with progress and tutor updates

Often grade-only feedback at the end of term

Pricing

Simple monthly rates across the school year, first grind free, nothing billed over the summer

Opaque term bundles with break-time billing

Billing renews on the 1st of each month. Join later in a month and your first payment covers the remaining weeks only (full, 3/4, half, or 1/4), then the full monthly rate from the next 1st.

The support loop

From stuck to confident in four steps

Every interaction follows the same simple loop, designed so no question gets left behind.

1

The moment it happens

Student gets stuck

A homework question, a past paper, or a lesson step stops making sense. Instead of skipping it, you pause, help is built into the portal and on WhatsApp.

I don't know where to start...

2

Your way, your comfort level

Asks a question

WhatsApp a screenshot, submit anonymously in group lessons, or ask during live class, whatever fits the moment.

Live lessons

Online Zoom lessons & in-person grinds

Online students join Zoom from the portal with recordings saved automatically. In-person students meet at our Blessington location on the same 1-to-1 flat-fee plan. Both get the same between-lesson support.

1

Join from your portal

When your tutor schedules an online lesson, a Zoom link appears on your dashboard and in Lessons. Open it at the scheduled time, no separate account needed.

2

Learn live on Zoom

Work through problems together in real time. Your tutor may ask you to use the Zoom whiteboard so they can see your workings on screen, the same as showing work on paper in class.

3

Recording saved automatically

Lessons are recorded to the cloud. After the meeting ends, Zoom processes the recording and it is linked to your lesson in the portal.

4

Watch again anytime

Open Lessons → Past lessons and tap Watch recording. You and your parents and guardians receive an email when the recording is ready.

Resources library

Enrolled students have a Resources section in the portal with PDF worksheets and YouTube videos, searchable by subject and topic. The library is always there when you log in, we add to it gradually over time as new materials are ready.

Support ecosystem

Every channel connects to the same tutor team, live grinds online or in-person, recordings, resources, WhatsApp, question banks, lesson prep, and parent dashboards.

The virtuous cycle

Four ways to learn, one support system

Small group (one or two classes a week), 1-to-1, or premium 1-to-1 — online on Zoom or in-person in Blessington. Every plan includes WhatsApp, question banks, and parent visibility. Pay monthly or annually for the remaining school year.

Online lessons, recordings & resources

Zoom lessons with join links in the portal, cloud recordings when you need to revisit a class, and a resources library that builds up over time, alongside WhatsApp and question banks.

Parents and guardians stay informed

Linked parent and guardian accounts have their own dashboard, and can WhatsApp the tutor too. They see progress updates, assignments, pre-first lesson assessments, engagement statistics, lesson activity, and student questions in one place.

Confidence builds over time

Each resolved question strengthens understanding instead of leaving doubt hanging. Students see engagement and progress in their portal; parents and guardians see the same picture on theirs.

Students who ask more questions learn quicker and improve faster. Active-learning research links engagement to roughly 6% higher exam scores (Freeman et al., PNAS 2014).

Linked parents and guardians see assignments, pre-first lesson assessments, progress updates, and engagement statistics without needing to ask.
